New Yorks Rockaway residents give vets a celebration

Heroes Helping Heroes:July 6th will kick off the
second annual Adaptive Water Sports Festival for disabled
veterans injured in the Iraqi war Wounded Warriors
Mohr Family
Fund.
The Rockaway Irish Boys(RIBS) will host a benefit fundraiser
for a local family in need. Theresa Mohr, a local mother of two has
been diagnosed with cancer. The family needs our help.
Medical bills and the daily cost of living are just too much and
we would like to offer some relief and ease the family's burden a bit by
hosting a fundraiser at the Knights of Columbus, Rockaway
Beach on February23rd from 2pm to
6pm. Food and drink will be provided, along
with many raffle prizes.
We are
asking that you please donate whatever you can to help this
family. A little bit from everyone becomes a whole
lot to someone who really needs it. If you can, please donate by
sending a check to the Graybeards. We also accept
