Our friend, Chris was born and raised in Brooklyn spending his summers in Breezy Point and in the Rockaways. This summer, Chris' life was tragically cut short at the young age of 37 years old. He leaves behind a wife and a 4 year daughter, Kaitlyn.
If you ask his friends to describe Chris, you'll get a similar response. He lived every day as if it was his last. He enjoyed the friends that he had, enjoyed "good times" with those he was with and was always eager to make friends along the way.
Chris grew up on East 26th Street in the Flatbush section of Brooklyn. He attended Xavier High School where he played football, basketball and rugby. He met is wife, Ann Marie in Manhattan and lived in the East Village, NYC.
So, please join us Friday, Sept. 5th, 2008 @ 3:30pm in the nearby Riis Park Pitch & Putt to play a round of golf to raise money for the Chris Israel's Children's Trust Fund and to remember a friend.
